Mission Statement

The purpose of the Pike County Historical Society is to arouse public awareness and appreciation of the history of Pike County, Indiana. The primary activities utilized to achieve this goal include collecting, preserving and interpreting objects and artifacts pertaining to Pike County through exhibition, education and research. The Society believes an understanding of the past illuminates the present and gives vision for the future.

Membership and book order forms

To become a member of the Pike County Historical Society, you may either print out a membership form to fill out and send in with your payment, or contact us and we can e-mail one to you. The Historical Society also sells various books pertaining to Pike County that you may find interesting. There is a printable order form available here.
